We are proud to announce Jackie Frey will be joining us as a new board member of FC Spring Valley. Frey’s soccer career was more than successful, it was outstanding. She was named the 2007 Section IX High School Player of the Year and led her Monroe Woodbury HS team to the Section IX Championships and Regional finals. As a forward on her high school team, Jackie was recognized as an All Section player all four years of her high school career, as well as All-State in 2007 and 2008 and NSCAA All-Region in 2007. Playing in both midfield and forward for her Quickstrike club team, Jackie contributed to the team's success as the 2008 Jefferson Cup Champions and State Cup Finalists. Jackie was also been a 4-year member of the Eastern New York North ODP team. After high school, she wanted to continue her soccer career through college, where Frey chose Marist over Holy Cross, Bryant and Binghamton University.
As a former Division 1 player, Jackie Frey currently sits on the top 10 in Marist’s record book with 12 Goals (9th all-time) and 30 points (10th all-time). Jackie had a lasting impact on Marist Women’s soccer history. She was an instrumental part of the team that won Marist Women’s Soccer first MAAC Championship in history in 2011.
We are pleased to have Jackie Frey on the board of FC Spring Valley. With her experience in collegiate athletics, we believe she will be a great addition to the program and help raise the standard for the club.
